Many business owners get it, and some, not so much. You have to create the ultimate ideal mobile experience for users. Don’t get us wrong…this doesn’t have to be a complicated project but you do have to understand what your customers will be looking for when they come to your site.

Do you sell a service, a product, give information; knowing what your customers need when they visit your standard website will help you understand what they want when they enter your mobile website. As we shared in our previous post, we know that most retail shoppers will be looking for directions and business hours. They may also be looking for product information and the ability to purchase.

Most users are looking for an easy to use experience. Take Domino’s Pizza as an example. They know that their customer is coming to their mobile site because they want a pizza. They allow the customer to create a custom account that makes ordering from a mobile device easier; enter your information once and you never have to do it again. You can order from their menu, find a store and look for coupons and promo offers. All of that with four easy to see and use buttons.

Remember – make it simple and make it clean. A site with ample white space will be easier to use.
